Job summary

Qualifications

• License to operate a forklift.

• Minimum one year’s experience managing HAZMAT.

Responsibilities

• Maintain inventory control, sustainment, replenishment and issue of hazardous material (HAZMAT) line items.
• Provide customer service support for the HAZMAT program, including fulfilling requests, stowage and compatibility considerations, provide necessary documentation to support procurement, and all disposal of HAZMAT activities.
• Research and gather all Safety Data Sheets (SDS) in support of HAZMAT program.
• Maintain and inspect all HAZMAT spaces and keep them within Navy standards for inspections.
