Qualified candidates hold 3+ years in Ordnance HAZMAT shipping, AMMO‑62 HAZMAT Certifier, and prior Ordnance Certification Board experience; a Lautenberg/Gun Control Act

Qualifications

• Has in‑depth knowledge and experience related to the duties of a shipping clerk with at least 3 years’ Ordnance HAZMAT shipping experience within the past 3 years.
• Must hold AMMO‑62 HAZMAT Certifier certification for shipping.
• Documentation of previous Ordnance Qualification/Certification Board Member.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Weapons Department in day‑to‑day Ordnance operations.
• Coordinate with supported commands and prepare required documentation to facilitate movement of munitions in support of NSWG‑2 and its component commands.
• Provide detailed technical advice pertaining to movement of munitions via all modes of transportation and use DD Form 2790 and DD Form 626.
