Job summary

People, Technology & Processes, LLC seeks an Ordnance Logistics HAZMAT Inspector/Shipping Clerk III at JEB Little Creek – Fort Story, VA. This on-site role supports the Weapons Department with day-to-day ordnance operations and secure movement of munitions.

Requirements include a minimum of three years’ Ordnance HAZMAT shipping experience, forklift license up to 6,000 lb, and the ability to obtain government vehicle access. SECRET clearance is required.

Qualifications

• Minimum of three years' Ordnance HAZMAT shipping experience within the past three years.
• AMMO-62 HAZMAT certification preferred; must complete if not currently certified.
• Documentation of previous Ordnance Qualification/Certification Board membership.
• Must meet Lautenberg Amendment requirements.
• Maintain forklift license for up to 6,000 lb capacity.
• Must meet requirements to obtain and check out government vehicles/CESE for duties.

Responsibilities

• Assist Weapons Department in day-to-day Ordnance operations.
• Coordinate with supported commands and prepare documentation for movement of munitions.
• Provide detailed technical advice pertaining to movement of munitions via all modes of transportation; use DD Form 2790 and DD Form 626.
