Republic Services is seeking an Environmental Services Field Technician I (Driver Non-CDL) to perform spill cleanup and Hazmat decon work on customer sites. The role requires operating a range of equipment and responding to emergencies, with DOT pre/post inspections and strict log maintenance.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license and ability to become DOT qualified (Non-CDL).
• Must pass 40-hour HAZWOPER training upon hire.

Responsibilities

• Enter confined spaces for manholes and tank cleaning.
• Operate light and heavy equipment including roll-off truck, vacuum truck, box trucks, skid steer, forklift, pumps and pallet-jack.
• Respond to customer spills and emergencies during and after hours.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip DOT inspections.
• Maintain vehicle logs.
• Perform general site/equipment housekeeping.
