Clean Harbors in North Amityville, NY, is seeking a Field Services Technician I to join a safety-conscious team. The role involves field tasks related to hazardous waste clean-up, site remediation, equipment decontamination, and handling of hazardous materials.

Expect to attend a paid two-week training Academy out of state; travel expenses are covered and per diem is provided. Excellent benefits, growth opportunities, and company-paid training accompany this position.

Formación

• Must have reliable transportation.
• Valid driver's license is required.
• Ability to perform physical functions per job requirements.
• Position includes emergency response on-call obligations.

Responsabilidades

• Follow health and safety policies as a priority.
• Perform physical labor including lifting and moving heavy objects.
• Operate light and heavy equipment and use hand/powered tools.
• Wear appropriate PPE and respirators as required.
• Work outdoors in various weather conditions and temperatures.
• Participate in field sampling and calibration activities.
• Attend compliance and safety meetings and on-call shifts.
