Job summary

KBR is seeking a Hazmat Waste Specialist for the Philippines to plan, coordinate, and supervise hazardous material management for MCPP-PHIL. You will ensure OSHA and related regulations are followed, oversee shipping/receiving, and maintain ISO policy compliance.

Responsibilities include training, reporting, and policy formulation to support operations. This role requires a strong background in hazardous materials handling, regulatory knowledge, and the ability to produce clear reports while

Qualifications

• Six years directly related work in Hazardous Materials management including classification, labeling, segregation inspection, and certification for transportation.
• Completion of Hazardous Materials/Waste Course in accordance with OSHA 29 CFR 1910-120 or equivalent.
• Successful completion of HQMC approved formal school(s) or OSHA course(s) certification providing info on safe management of hazardous materials/waste.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain a Philippines Work Permit.

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance of OSHA regulations and other hazardous material requirements.
• Manage regulatory environment requirements and industry practices for hazardous material handling.
• Provide manager-level reports on hazardous material storage, distribution, disposal, and regulatory considerations.
• Provide hazardous material identification and handling training and support for safe handling, processing, packaging, and storage of hazardous materials and wastes.
• Plan, coordinate, and manage hazardous material shipping and receiving.
• Formulate administrative and operational policies and procedures.
• Identify requirements for money, manpower, materiel, facilities, and services for hazardous material management.
• Enforce safety regulations and procedures for handling and storing hazardous materials.
• Prepare technical reports and correspondence to identify problem areas and maintain records.
