Bering Straits Professional Services, LLC (BSPS) seeks a Material Handler / Coordinator for Patuxent River, MD. The role supports loading/unloading HAZMAT, coordinating training records, and maintaining quarterly inventory.

The candidate should have a High School Diploma or GED, 5–7 years of facility maintenance experience, and OSHA 30-hour certification within the last 3 years; must lift 50 lbs and follow safety rules. This is an on-site, full-time position under BSPS.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 5–7 years of facility maintenance experience.
• Thirty hours OSHA safety training within past 3 years.
• Must follow basic safety procedures and verbal directions.
• Must be able to lift 50 lbs.
• Knowledge of organizational procedures and workflows; basic tech awareness.

Responsibilities

• Loads and unloads HAZMAT materials onto/off trucks with padding and ropes.
• Conducts quarterly facility reviews.
• Ensures training certificates/class rosters are forwarded to the COR.
• Completes quarterly material inventory reports for the P2 Division.
• Identifies and ensures storage locations, cabinets, and rooms are identified and compliant.
• Reports spills and maintains initial spill forms for area under control.
