Job summary

KBR, Inc is seeking a MCPP- Hazmat Waste Specialist (Philippines). The role ensures compliance with OSHA and related regulations, while managing a full range of hazmat handling, packaging, shipping, and storage activities for the MCPP-PHIL program.

You will prepare reports, conduct training, and support logistics under the MCPP-PHIL supervisor. Requirements include a related AA degree, six years of hazmat experience, OSHA/HQMC certifications, and the ability to obtain a Philippines work permit.

Qualifications

• Six years directly related work in Hazardous Materials management activities including classification, labeling, segregation inspection, and certification for transportation.
• Completion of Hazardous Materials/Waste Course in accordance with OSHA 29 CFR 1910-120 or equivalent.
• U.S. Citizen, U.S. Stateside Driver’s License, U.S. Passport.
• HQMC approved formal school(s) or OSHA course(s) certification for hazardous materials handling.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Philippines Work Permit.

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with OSHA regulations and all other hazardous material requirements.
• Manage regulatory requirements and best practices for hazardous material handling.
• Provide manager-level reports on storage, distribution, disposal and regulatory considerations.
• Provide hazmat identification and handling training and support for safe handling and storage procedures.
• Plan, coordinate, and manage hazmat shipping and receiving.
• Plan, coordinate, and manage MPF hazmat logistics support.
• Formulate administrative and operational policies and procedures.
• Identify resources needed to support hazmat management.
• Enforce worker compliance with safety regulations and handling procedures.
• Prepare technical reports and maintain records; ensure ISO policies compliance.

Education

AA degree in safety or environmental engineering, health education or a related field
