HMM America Shipping Agency seeks a motivated Hazmat Coordinator to ensure regulatory compliance for hazardous materials, preventing fines and environmental impact under 49 CFR and IMDG Code. You will manage documentation, data entry, and communication with customers and regulatory bodies.

Formación

• At least one year of transportation experience with hazmat knowledge.
• Experience with USDOT 49 CFR and IMDG Code preferred.
• Ability to troubleshoot and communicate with customers globally.
• High school diploma; bachelor’s degree preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Receives and reviews documentation from customers.
• Enters data into the HMM operating system.
• Coordinate hazmat activities for domestic and international shipments.
• Route shipments and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Liaise with vessel owners, ports, and regulatory bodies.
• Provide hazmat regulatory knowledge to customers.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
