Job summary

BSNC's BSPS facility seeks a Material Handler / Coordinator at Patuxent River, MD to load/unload hazardous materials, manage inventory, and maintain safe handling in a government contracting environment.

The role requires 5–7 years of facility maintenance experience, a HS diploma or GED, OSHA 30 within 3 years, ability to lift 50 lbs, and willingness to follow procedures and directions.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 5–7 years of facility maintenance experience.
• OSHA 30-hour or equivalent within the last 3 years.

Responsibilities

• Loads and unloads HAZMAT materials onto/off trucks with padding and ropes to prevent damage.
• Conducts quarterly facility reviews to ensure compliance.
• Forward training certificates/class rosters to the COR.
• Submit quarterly material inventory reports to the P2 Division.
• Identify and secure all hazardous material storage locations and rooms.
• Process initial spill report forms for spills within the coordinator’s area.
