Job summary

Veolia North America is seeking a transportation and disposal specialist to provide services to clients, including manifesting, packaging, spill response, labeling, and coordinating transportation while adhering to safety regulations. The role requires a high school diploma or GED; a chemistry-related degree is preferred.

Certifications and a valid driver's license with CDL(H) endorsement are desirable. The position offers pay in the $23–$25 per hour range, with benefits including PTO,

Qualifications

• HS diploma or GED required.
• Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry or related science preferred.

Responsibilities

• Sample waste streams according to policies.
• Manifesting, packaging, spill cleanup and labeling; loading/unloading; coordinating transportation.
• Maintain professional image by answering inquiries and proposing solutions.
• Comply with all health, safety, and procedures per VES-TS policies.
• Familiar with DOT/EPA and VES-TS regs for disposal paperwork.
• Operate and maintain equipment for efficiency.
