Veolia in North America seeks a Transportation and Disposal Specialist to support clients by sampling and profiling waste, manifesting, packaging, spill response, labeling, and coordinating transportation while complying with environmental, health, and safety regulations. Position requires a High School diploma or GED; a Bachelor's in Chemistry or related science is preferred.

Certifications include 40-hour HAZWOPER, a valid driver’s license, and the ability to obtain a Class A or B CDL with

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Bachelor's degree in Chemistry or related science preferred.

Responsibilities

• Sample waste streams according to prescribed policies and procedures.
• Manifesting, packaging, spill cleanup, labeling, loading/unloading, and coordinating transportation.
• Maintain a professional image to clients by answering inquiries and suggesting solutions to existing/potential problems.
• Comply with DOT/EPA and VES-TS regulations in submitting paperwork for disposal of hazardous waste.
• Operate and maintain all equipment to ensure efficiency.
• Other duties as assigned.
