Job summary

Veolia in North America is hiring a Hazardous Waste Transport Specialist to provide specialized transportation and disposal services to clients. Responsibilities include manifesting, packaging, spill response, labeling, loading, coordinating transportation and sampling to ensure compliance with DOT, EPA, and Veolia-TS policies.

The role requires a 40-hour HAZWOPER certification, a valid driver's license, and the ability to obtain a Class A or B CDL with Hazardous endorsement; HS diploma or GED

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required
• Bachelor's degree in Chemistry or related science preferred

Responsibilities

• Sample waste streams per policy
• Manifesting, packaging, spill clean-up and transportation coordination
• Maintain professional client image and respond to inquiries
• Follow health, safety and regulatory procedures
