Job summary

Veolia in North America is seeking a transportation and disposal services specialist to manage manifesting, packaging, spill response, labeling, loading/unloading and transport coordination while complying with DOT/EPA and Veolia policies.

Qualifications include a High School diploma or GED; a Bachelor's degree is preferred. Expected skills include strong communication, time management and customer service with a commitment to safety and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Bachelor's degree in Chemistry or related science preferred.
• Includes knowledge of DOT/EPA and Veolia policies.

Responsibilities

• Sample waste streams per policies and procedures.
• Manifest, package, spill cleanup, label, load/unload and coordinate transport.
• Present professional client image; address inquiries and solutions.
• Comply with safety and regulatory procedures (DOT/EPA/VES-TS).
• Familiarize with DOT/EPA and VES-TS paperwork for disposal.
• Operate and maintain equipment safely; perform other duties.
