Job summary

Triumvirate Environmental seeks a Hazardous Waste Operations Supervisor for our Greater Austin Area, Taylor, TX client. The role leads a loading crew, ensures safety, schedules shipments, and maintains compliance with RCRA/DOT requirements.

Ideal candidates have hands-on supervision experience with bulk tanker operations, strong organizational skills, and a commitment to safe, on-time shipments. Overtime and flexible hours may be required.

Qualifications

• Hands-on, safety-minded supervisor with experience in bulk tanker loading/offloading operations.
• Strong organizational skills for scheduling, staff and documentation in a fast-paced field environment.
• Experience with hazardous waste handling, manifests, and shipping documentation.

Responsibilities

• Comply with safety procedures and PPE use.
• Schedule and coordinate bulk tanker shipments and onsite drivers with local office staff and customers.
• Directly supervise field technicians performing tanker loading operations.
• Ensure safe and efficient loading per SOPs, material compatibility, and DOT/RCRA requirements.
• Create and review waste shipment manifests.
• Perform air monitoring and use gas meters.
• Communicate shipment status and changes to stakeholders.
• Oversee job site safety, PPE compliance, and spill-response readiness.
• Manage profitability and efficiency of loading assignments.
