Job summary

Triumvirate Environmental is seeking a Hazardous Waste Operations Supervisor for the Taylor, TX area on second shift. The role guides field technicians, coordinates bulk tanker shipments, and ensures safe loading per SOPs while maintaining manifests under DOT and RCRA requirements.

This safety-sensitive position requires OSHA 40-hour training, equipment familiarity, and the ability to work overtime, nights, and weekends.

Qualifications

• Experience in bulk or hazardous waste transfer and tanker operations.
• Supervisory experience over technicians and ability to coordinate schedules and logistics.
• Knowledge of OSHA, DOT, RCRA regulations for hazardous materials.
• Hazardous materials handling including manifests and shipping docs.
• Experience with tankers, pumps, hoses, and vacuum trucks.
• OSHA 40-hour training requirement.
• Willingness to work overtime including nights/weekends.
• Must be eligible to work in the United States without sponsorship.
• Ability to lift up to 60 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Schedule and coordinate bulk tanker shipments and loading windows with drivers and customers.
• Directly supervise field technicians performing tanker loading operations.
• Ensure safe loading per SOPs, material compatibility, and DOT/RCRA requirements.
• Create and review waste shipment manifests and perform air monitoring as needed.
• Communicate shipment status and changes to local staff and customers.
• Oversee site safety, PPE compliance, and spill-response readiness.
• Manage profitability and efficiency of loading assignments.
• Monitor transfers and stop work if unsafe conditions arise.
