Job summary

Triumvirate Environmental is seeking a Hazardous Waste Operations Supervisor for the Greater Austin Area, Texas. The role oversees tanker loading operations, staff scheduling, and safety compliance at a client site in Taylor, TX.

The ideal candidate has hands-on supervision experience, strong knowledge of RCRA/DOT requirements, and must be able to work overtime and night/weekend shifts. This is a safety-sensitive, on-site position with opportunities for growth and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Experience in bulk or hazardous waste transfer is required.
• Experience supervising technicians and coordinating schedules.
• Knowledge of RCRA, DOT regulations pertaining to hazardous waste.
• Hazardous materials handling, manifests and shipping documentation.
• OSHA 40-hour training.
• Able to work overtime and flexible hours including night/weekends.
• Must be eligible to work in the United States without sponsorship.
• Must be able to lift 60 pounds regularly.

Responsibilities

• Comply with safety procedures and PPE use.
• Schedule and coordinate bulk tanker shipments and drivers with office staff and customers.
• Directly supervise field technicians on tanker loading operations.
• Ensure safe and efficient loading per SOPs and DOT/RCRA requirements.
• Review waste shipment manifests and ensure accuracy.
• Perform air monitoring and use gas meters.
• Communicate shipment status and changes to stakeholders.
• Oversee site safety, PPE compliance, and spill-response readiness.
• Manage profitability and efficiency of loading assignments.
• Monitor transfers and stop work if unsafe conditions arise.
