Job summary

Triumvirate Environmental is seeking a Hazardous Waste Operations Supervisor for the Taylor, TX area. The first shift runs 5:00AM–1:30PM, overseeing tanker loading operations and field technicians to ensure safe, compliant shipments.

Ideal candidates have hands-on experience with bulk tanker transfers, strong organizational skills, and a proven ability to manage scheduling, staff, and documentation in a fast-paced field environment.

Qualifications

• Experience supervising technicians and coordinating schedules.
• Firm understanding of RCRA, DOT, and related hazardous waste regulations.
• Hazardous materials handling experience including manifests and shipping docs.
• OSHA 40-hour training and safety mindset.
• Ability to work overtime, nights, and weekends as needed.

Responsibilities

• Schedule and coordinate bulk tanker shipments and loading windows.
• Directly supervise field technicians performing tanker loading operations.
• Ensure safe and efficient loading per SOPs, materials, and DOT/RCRA requirements.
• Create and review waste shipment manifests.
• Conduct air monitoring and use gas meters.
• Communicate status and changes to office staff and customers.
• Oversee site safety, PPE compliance, and spill-response readiness.
• Manage profitability and efficiency of loading assignments.
