Job summary

Clean Harbors is seeking a Hazardous Waste Program Manager to lead client programs and act as the primary interface with Clean Harbors. The role focuses on ensuring safety, regulatory compliance, and effective waste management at client sites in Salisbury, MA and surrounding areas.

You will oversee waste activities, labeling, shipments, reports, and day-to-day safety compliance, with opportunities for growth and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent; degree in chemistry/biology/environmental science preferred.
• 2+ years hazardous waste experience.
• Familiarity with state regulatory requirements for Small and Large Generators.
• Valid driver’s license; ability to obtain CDL.

Responsibilities

• Ensuring Health and Safety is the top priority and compliant with safe work practices.
• Oversees waste activities at multiple locations.
• Act as main contact for waste management/minimization issues.
• Generate waste labels and ensure proper labeling of containers.
• Manage all waste shipments from sites and ensure compliance with laws.
• Prepare required reports and maintain site records.
• Conduct site inspections and document storage timelines.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
