Job summary

Veolia has acquired Clean Earth and is integrating operations in North America. The Waste Processing Supervisor role will oversee the handling of hazardous, non-hazardous, and universal wastes, ensuring safe, compliant, on-time processing and staff development.

You will lead a team, coordinate with internal/external stakeholders, and enforce health and safety standards across the site while maintaining regulatory adherence and high operational performance.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of progressive environmental/hazardous waste management experience in an operations capacity.
• Experience with RCRA and DoT regulations as it relates to waste transport and processing.
• Understanding of waste profiling and tracking related to inventory and outbound shipping.
• Demonstrated safety leadership and regulatory compliance mindset.

Responsibilities

• Oversee consolidation and operation of all wastes received and ensure timely processing per procedures.
• Coordinate with internal and external teams to meet customer requirements and regulatory needs.
• Hire, train, and manage staff performance to maintain a cohesive, motivated team.
• Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local permits and safety standards.
• Promote safety and security initiatives across the facility and lead training.
• Communicate facility needs and changes in operations to management.
