Job summary

Clean Earth is recruiting a Waste Processing Team Lead to oversee Environmental Technicians at our Hatfield, PA site. You will supervise material handling, documentation and site operations to meet safety and regulatory requirements.

The role emphasizes training staff, maintaining accurate records, and coordinating large projects from receipt to settlement without direct reports, ensuring safe, compliant, and efficient operations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; associate degree preferred.
• Forklift certification and valid driving record.
• Knowledge of hazardous waste regulations (RCRA/DOT/EPA).
• Ability to read and respond to written and verbal English.
• Willingness to train and coach technicians on-the-job.

Responsibilities

• Segregate and package material for transport and complete paperwork per regulations.
• Oversee a team of technicians and manage large projects from receipt to settlement.
• Collect samples and perform onsite testing for unknown materials.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state and local permit requirements.
• Train technicians on equipment operation and paperwork.
• Operate fork trucks and heavy equipment when trained.
• Maintain operational documentation and safety records.
• Report incidents or safety concerns to management.
