Job summary

Veolia North America is seeking a Waste Handler at a Semiconductor Manufacturing Facility to perform routine hazardous and non-hazardous waste tasks, operate equipment, and ensure safe, compliant processing of materials. You will follow procedures, maintain logs, and support maintenance and spill response as needed.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, at least two years of hazardous material processing experience, and preferred one year of heavy equipment operation.

Qualifications

• Ability to communicate through reading and writing.
• Trained in the use of material handling equipment.
• Work in loud, cold, hot, wet and dry environments.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine hazardous and non-hazardous waste tasks in movement and processing of waste.
• Operate equipment (forklifts, heavy machinery) and scanning of container movements.
• Maintain area operations and assist with spills, repairs, and maintenance logs.
