Job summary

Triumvirate Environmental in Taylor, TX is hiring a Hazardous Waste Technician for the first shift (5:00 AM–1:30 PM). The role requires OSHA HAZWOPER training, Confined Space Entry & Rescue certification, and a valid driver's license.

You will support safe waste loading/disposal, PPE usage, and site setup while representing the company professionally. Responsibilities include transferring hazardous and non-hazardous waste, monitoring processes, and maintaining safe, compliant operations on site

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• Excellent written and verbal communication, attention to detail, and problem-solving skills.
• Must complete OSHA HAZWOPER 40-hour training and Confined Space Entry & Rescue certification.

Responsibilities

• Comply with safety procedures and regulations, including proper use of PPE.
• Wear respirator / SCBA as required.
• Load materials into tankers following SOPs.
• Set up job site functions before transfer operations.
• Connect/disconnect hoses to tankers, inspect connections.
• Operate pumps to load/offload hazardous and non-hazardous waste.
• Monitor transfers and stop work if unsafe conditions arise.
• Maintain housekeeping and present professionally to stakeholders.
• Carry out daily tasks as assigned by Lead.
