Job summary

Veolia North America, LLC is seeking a hazardous waste technician to perform routine waste handling tasks under supervision. The role includes moving solids and liquids, loading/unloading containers, and supporting decontamination operations at the facility.

The position requires a GED or high school diploma and may require forklift proficiency. 40-Hour HAZWOPER training is preferred, with safety as a priority.

Qualifications

• Ability to read and write effectively
• Trained in the use of material handling equipment
• Willingness to perform various manual labor tasks

Responsibilities

• Load and unload various containers (totes, drums, trailers)
• Transport hazardous waste materials within the facility
• Decontaminate and dispose of empty drums and containers per guidelines
• Complete paperwork for material processing and transportation
• Maintain a clean, organized, safe work area
• Inspect material handling equipment as directed
