Job summary

Veolia in North America is an environmental services leader providing water, waste, and energy management solutions. This role handles routine hazardous and non-hazardous waste tasks, moving solids and liquids, cleaning and decontamination, and paperwork for material transport and processing at the site.

Ideal candidates hold a HS diploma or GED, 3–6 months in hazardous waste or chemical handling, and forklift/tool proficiency; 40-Hour HAZWOPER training is preferred, with competitive hourly pay

Qualifications

• Ability to communicate through reading and writing.
• Trained in the use of material handling equipment.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload various size containers (totes, drums, tankers, trailers).
• Construct boxes and/or fiber containers and stacks, labels, and loads containers.
• Use a variety of tools such as impact wrenches, shovels, jackhammers, etc.
