Job summary

Veolia is hiring for a general labor role focused on moving and handling hazardous and non-hazardous waste. Under supervision, you will load/unload containers, operate basic tools, decontaminate drums, and support paperwork for transport and processing at the site.

The position requires the ability to read and write, basic communication skills, and 3–6 months experience in hazardous or chemical environments. Training and safety compliance are emphasized, with a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• 3–6 months in hazardous waste or chemical industry preferred.
• Proficiency in handling forklifts and a variety of tools.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload various containers (totes, drums, tankers, trailers).
• Construct boxes/containers and label/load containers.
• Transport hazardous waste within the facility as directed.
• Decontaminate and dispose of empty drums/containers per guidelines.
• Assist in paperwork for processing materials and transportation.
