Clean Harbors in Salt Lake City, UT is seeking a Field Services Technician I to join our safety-conscious team, performing tasks in hazardous waste cleanup, site remediation, equipment decontamination and handling of hazardous materials. This role requires attendance at a two-week Academy training out of state, with expenses covered and paid training.

Starting pay ranges from $21–$22 per hour with comprehensive benefits after 30 days, and opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

• Valid Driver's license and clean MVR.
• Ability to perform physical functions per job requirements.
• Emergency response readiness; on-call and possible weekend/holiday work.
• Background check, drug test, and medical evaluation may be required.
• Previous labor experience.

Responsibilities

• Prioritize health and safety by following policies and procedures.
• Engage in strenuous physical labor including lifting and pulling heavy objects.
• Operate light/heavy equipment and use various hand tools with PPE.
• Work in varying indoor/outdoor conditions and potential hazardous environments.
• Be on call for emergency response on rotating basis.
• Assist in field sampling and calibration of meters.
• Safely load/unload waste and perform waste stream profiling as needed.
• Follow DOT and regulatory requirements and attend safety meetings.
