Job summary

Clean Harbors in Pasadena, TX seeks a Field Services Technician II to perform hazardous waste cleanup, site remediation, and equipment decontamination. Training at the two-week Academy is paid and may be out of state with expenses covered by the company.

Qualifications

• Must be able to perform physical functions per job requirements.
• Must pass background check, drug test and medical.
• On-call and emergency response expectations may extend long hours, including weekends/holidays.

Responsibilities

• Ensure health and safety is the number one goal by following policies and procedures.
• Engage in strenuous physical labor including lifting and pulling heavy objects.
• Operate light and heavy equipment and use various hand tools and powered industrial tools.
• Wear and properly use PPE including respirators and protective gear.
• Work in varying temperatures and weather conditions, indoors and outdoors.
• Handle hazardous and non-hazardous waste safely during loading/unloading.
• Complete associated paperwork (workbooks, inspections, permits).
• Be on-call for emergency response on rotating basis.
