Job summary

Clean Harbors in Hutto, TX is seeking a Field Services Technician I to join our safety conscious team. This role will be active in the field responsible for the performance of tasks associated with hazardous waste clean-up, site-remediation, equipment decontamination and handling of hazardous materials.

The position requires new hires to attend our two-week Academy (paid) training; expenses are covered by the company, and there is a rotating on-call requirement for emergency response.

Qualifications

• Requires ability to perform physical duties as described in responsibilities.
• On-call emergency response may require weekend/holiday work and extended hours.
• Background check, drug test, and medical clearance required by role.

Responsibilities

• Ensure Health and Safety is the top priority by following policies and safe work practices.
• Engage in strenuous physical labor including lifting and pulling heavy objects.
• Operate light and heavy equipment and various hand tools and powered tools.
• Wear and use PPE including respirators and protective gear.
• Work outdoors in all weather and temperatures; handle hazardous materials.
