Job summary

Clean Harbors in La Porte, TX is seeking a Field Services Technician I to join our safety-conscious team. This role will be active in the field responsible for the performance of tasks associated with hazardous waste clean-up, site-remediation, equipment decontamination and handling of hazardous materials.

New hires will attend a two-week paid Academy training (out-of-state possible) with expenses covered by the company.

Qualifications

• Reliable transportation to site and training locations.
• Ability to perform strenuous physical tasks as described in responsibilities.
• On-call emergency responsibilities may require extended hours.
• Pass background check, drug test, and medical exam if required.

Responsibilities

• Follow safety policies and wear/maintain PPE; work safely.
• Perform field tasks including hazardous waste handling and sampling.
• Operate equipment and assist with site remediation activities.
• Attend compliance and safety training and meetings.
