Job summary

Clean Harbors in Bartow, FL is seeking a Field Services Technician I to join our safety-conscious team. This role will be active in the field responsible for the performance of tasks associated with hazardous waste clean-up, site-remediation, equipment decontamination and handling of hazardous materials.

The position is full-time, on-site, with an hourly pay range of $20.00–$21.00, and on-call emergency response responsibilities.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license with clean MVR.
• Ability to perform physical functions per job requirements.
• Willingness to be on-call for emergency response and possible weekends/holidays.

Responsibilities

• Follow health and safety policies and work safely.
• Operate light and heavy equipment and tools.
• Work outdoors in various weather conditions.
• Assist in field sampling and calibrations.
• Safely load and unload hazardous and non-hazardous waste.
• Be on call for emergency response on rotating basis.
• Observe DOT and regulatory requirements.
