Job summary

Clean Harbors in Seymour CT is seeking a Field Services Technician (Laborer) to join our safety‑conscious team, performing hazardous waste cleanup, site remediation, equipment decontamination and handling of hazardous materials.

Qualifications

• Must be able to perform physical functions per responsibilities.
• On-call availability; weekends/holidays may be required; overtime up to 12–24 hrs.

Responsibilities

• Ensure Health and Safety is the top priority by following policies and acting safely.
• Engage in strenuous physical labor including lifting and pulling heavy objects.
• Operate light and heavy equipment and hand tools; use PPE as required.
• Wear PPE including respirators and protective gear per SOPs.
• Work outdoors in all weather conditions and in potentially hazardous environments.
• Assist in field sampling and calibration of meters.
• Climb ladders and scaffolding; work from trucks, tanks, and containers.
