Job summary

Hepaco a Clean Harbors company in Greenbrier, TN seeks a Field Services Technician I to perform hazardous waste cleanup, site remediation, equipment decontamination and handling of hazardous materials in the field.

The role involves strenuous physical labor, operating equipment, and strict safety compliance; you must be on-call for emergency response on rotating basis and may attend a paid two-week Academy training (out of state at times).

Qualifications

• Reliable transportation
• Ability to perform physical functions per Key Responsibilities
• Emergency response on-call; weekends/holidays may be required; may extend beyond 8 hours up to 12–24 hrs
• Background check, drug test, and physical required by position
• OSHA respiratory protection: facial hair standards

Responsibilities

• Ensure health and safety is the top priority by following policies
• Operate light and heavy equipment and use tools
• Wear and use PPE including respirators and protection gear
• Work outdoors in various weather conditions and temperatures
• Be on-call for emergency response on rotating basis
