Clean Harbors in Kaukauna, WI is seeking a Field Services Technician I to join our safety conscious team. This role will be active in the field responsible for the performance of tasks associated with hazardous waste clean-up, site-remediation, equipment decontamination and handling of hazardous materials.

Many tasks are located in Germantown, WI, with travel and paid time in a company vehicle; starting pay is $18-$20/hr and comprehensive benefits begin after 30 days of full-time employment,

Qualifications

• Valid Driver’s license and clean MVR.
• Reliable transportation.
• Ability to perform physical functions per Key Responsibilities.
• On-call requirement with possible weekend/holiday work; some emergency shifts may exceed 8 hours.
• Pass background check, drug test, and physical as required.
• Respect OSHA respiratory protection standards; facial hair rules apply when respirators are required.
• Prior relevant labor experience.

Responsibilities

• Ensure Health and Safety is the number one goal by following policies, processes, and safe practices
• Operate light and heavy equipment and use a variety of PPE
• Work in various temperatures indoors and outdoors in all weather conditions
• Safely load and unload hazardous and non-hazardous waste
• Attend compliance and safety update meetings
• Be on call for emergency response on rotating basis
