Job summary

Veolia North America, LLC is seeking a hands-on Hazardous Waste Technician to perform daily waste handling tasks outdoors in PPE. You will consolidate materials, decontaminate containers, and assist with documentation for processing and transport.

Ideal candidates hold a HS diploma or GED with preferred chemistry background and 40-hour HAZWOPER certification. CDL with hazardous endorsement is a plus. Equal opportunity employer.

Responsibilities

• Consolidate and manage waste materials at designated sites with appropriate equipment.
• Decontaminate and dispose of containers per RCRA and guidelines.
• Assist in completing paperwork for processing materials.
• Sample waste streams according to policies and procedures.
• Handle manifesting, packaging, spill clean-up and transportation coordination.
• Maintain professional image and address client inquiries with solutions.
