Job summary

Clean Harbors in Greenville / Spartanburg, SC is seeking a Field Services Technician I to join our safety conscious team. This role will be active in the field responsible for hazardous waste cleanup, site remediation, equipment decontamination and handling of hazardous materials.

100% Travel and On Call / Emergency Response are required. New hires attend a two-week Academy (paid) training, with expenses covered. Pay range is $20.00-$23.00 hourly with a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Reliable transportation
• Valid Driver's license
• Ability to perform physical functions per Key Responsibilities
• On-call; emergency response expectations
• Background check, drug test, and physical may be required

Responsibilities

• Ensure Health and Safety is the number one goal by following policies and acting safely
• Engage in strenuous physical labor including lifting and pulling
• Operate light and heavy equipment and hand tools
• Use PPE correctly including respirators and protective gear
• Work in various temperatures and weather conditions
• Assist in field sampling and calibration of meters
• Climb ladders and scaffolding and work from trucks and tanks
• Be on call for emergency response on rotating basis
