Job summary

Veolia is seeking a Field Operations Supervisor to oversee field teams handling hazardous waste, including packing, labeling, manifesting and shipping to disposal centers. You will ensure compliance with health and safety policies and regulatory requirements, and coordinate transportation and sampling activities.

Ideal candidates have a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience, 2–4 years in hazardous waste, and supervisory experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent work experience.
• 2 to 4 years of hazardous waste experience.
• Supervisory experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Leads teams in packing, labeling, manifesting and shipping hazardous waste from customer sites to disposal centers.
• Comply with health, safety and procedures per policies.
• Identify opportunities to provide value-added services and maintain professional communications with customers.
• Ensure compliance with DOT/EPA and Veolia regulatory paperwork.
• Complete OSHA trainings and keep refresher courses up to date.
• Operate and maintain equipment to complete projects efficiently.
