Job summary

Arcwood Environmental is seeking a Field Chemist to join our onsite team in Telford, PA. You will manage hazardous and non-hazardous waste, ensuring safe handling and regulatory compliance in field operations.

The role requires an associate degree (bachelor's preferred), 2+ years in waste handling, and a valid driver’s license with HazMat endorsement; CDL may be required within 6 months. Travel to sites around the region is expected.

Qualifications

• Associates degree required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
• 2+ years of related experience in lab packing or environmental waste is expected.
• Valid Driver's License and ability to obtain a Class B CDL with Hazmat endorsement within 6 months of hire date.

Responsibilities

• Sort and transport hazardous and non-hazardous materials and waste, ensuring compatibility and safety.
• Travel to projects in the region and report back to the office daily.
• Adhere to safety policies and maintain proper paperwork for each job.
• Assist in material characterization and load segregation requirements for hazardous materials.
