Job summary

GFL Environmental Inc. is seeking a driver to transport, remove, deliver, and collect various liquid and solid hazardous wastes from multiple customer sites. You will load/unload, operate vacuum and box trucks, and work on site if needed. Role requires CDL B with airbrakes and a valid tanker endorsement.

Responsibilities include safe driving, proper cargo handling, regulatory compliance, and professional communication with customers. Overtime, weekends, and both indoor/outdoor work are expected.

Qualifications

• CDL B with airbrakes required.
• Tanker endorsement required.
• Must be able to operate manual transmission and work overtime; weekends possible.

Responsibilities

• Safe Driving & Operation: perform pre- and post-trip inspections and maneuver trucks safely.
• Cargo Handling & Securement: load/unload and secure hazardous waste cargo per standards.
• Compliance & Documentation: maintain logs, manifests, bills of lading per regulations.
• Defect & Incident Reporting: report mechanical issues or accidents promptly.
• Customer Service & Communication: maintain professional communication with customers and team.
• Site & Equipment Care: keep vehicles clean and report issues to management.
• Support & Teamwork: assist training and perform other duties as assigned.
