Job summary

GFL Environmental Inc. is seeking a skilled driver to transport, remove, deliver and collect hazardous wastes from multiple customer sites. You will load/unload, operate various trucks, and ensure safety and regulatory compliance on every trip.

Responsibilities include securing loads, performing vehicle inspections, maintaining logs, and delivering paperwork to customers in a courteous, timely manner. Hazmat management, safety, and teamwork are essential in this role.

Qualifications

• CDL A license with clean driving record.
• Tanker endorsement required; hazmat endorsement preferred.
• Ability to drive manual transmissions.
• Willingness to work overtime and weekends as needed.

Responsibilities

• Oversee cargo handling and secure loads, including equipment preparation and safe practices.
• Perform trip inspections on equipment and load to ensure safety and roadworthiness.
• Load and unload trucks and deliver to customers with proper paperwork.
• Comply with driving regulations, hours of service, and safety guidelines.
