Job summary

Wayne-Sanderson Farms is seeking candidates for hatchery duties and leadership within our facility. The role focuses on assisting with hatchery operations, maintaining strict PPE use, and guiding hourly team members to comply with safety and quality standards.

Responsibilities include processing eggs, assisting supervisors, and ensuring cleanliness and regulatory compliance. High school diploma preferred; prior hatchery exposure is valuable and leadership potential is a plus.

Qualifications

• Must have prior hatchery experience.
• Ability to work unsupervised and self-motivated.
• Sound work ethic, honesty and moral character.

Responsibilities

• Assist Hatchery Supervisor in safety processes and observe hatchery operations.
• Train and assist hatchery employees.
• Place eggs in incubator trays and baskets into hatchers.
• Pull and push buggies.
• Place trays of chicks on line.
• Clean and sanitize machines, floors, drains, baskets, buggies, etc.
• Follow all company policies and regulations.
