Job summary

Wayne-Sanderson Farms is seeking a reliable team member to transfer eggs from buggies to setter machines, maintain PPE, and follow all safety and policy guidelines. The role requires stamina for standing long hours and the ability to handle heavy loads in a fast-paced hatchery environment.

Responsibilities include equipment checks, sanitation, and moving egg buggies while complying with NCC Animal Welfare Guidelines and local regulations.

Qualifications

• Must wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
• Ability to work unsupervised and self-motivate.
• Ability to work nights, weekends, holidays and extended shift hours.
• Basic math functions and skills.

Responsibilities

• Transfer eggs from buggies to setter machines.
• Perform machine checks and clean/sanitize equipment and areas.
• Pull and push egg buggies and handle loads up to ~60 lbs.
