Job summary

Wayne Farms LLC in Adel, GA is seeking an entry-level hatchery worker to assist in daily operations and to support the Hatchery Supervisor. You will help with safety, equipment, and workflow, and you may train fellow employees as needed.

Responsibilities include handling eggs, placing trays, operating hatchers, and maintaining clean work areas in a fast-paced environment. Must wear PPE and adhere to all policies and guidelines during shifts.

Qualifications

• Previous hatchery experience is required.
• Ability to work unsupervised and self-motivate.
• Sound work ethic, honesty and moral character.

Responsibilities

• Assist Hatchery Supervisor in safety processes and hatchery operations.
• Train and assist hatchery employees.
• Place eggs in incubator trays and baskets into hatchers.
• Pull and push buggies.
• Place trays of chicks on line.
• Clean and sanitize machines, floors, drains, baskets, and buggies.
• Follow safety policies and PPE usage.
• All other duties as assigned.
