Job summary

Aeriz in Riverbank, CA is seeking a Harvest Associate for the Cultivation department. The role focuses on plant harvesting, drying and curing Cannabis, reporting to the Harvest Lead, and working on-site at our facility.

Two shifts are available: 1st shift 4am-2:30pm and 2nd shift 2pm-12:30. Compensation is $18.00 - $18.50 per hour; benefits include medical, dental, vision, PTO and 401(k). This position is union-represented under PTU CBA and requires 21+ with physical stamina.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or GED required.
• Ability to work productively independently within a team.
• Math skills for inventory, projections, and measurements.
• Follow company policies and maintain accuracy.
• Close visual focus and repetitive manual tasks; able to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Irrigation parameters knowledge preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform task as assigned by lead or manager in harvest and/or secondary cultivation.
• Move finished plants from flowering to dry rooms.
• Separate waste from plant material into usable product.
• Break down wet plant, remove plant waste, hang usable product in Drying Room.
• Break down dry plant, remove plant waste, separate plant material into different material grades.
• Maintain record keeping.
• Other processing duties assigned.

Description

Secondary responsibilities will include working with cultivation team with any plant maintenance task needed. This role will report directly to the Harvest Lead and work on-site at our facility in Riverbank, Ca.

• Perform movement of finished plants from flowering to dry rooms.
• Perform separation of waste from plant material into usable product.
• Break down wet plant, remove plant waste, hang usable product in Drying Room.
• Break down dry plant, remove plant waste, separate plant material into different material grades.
• Maintain record keeping.
• Other processing duties assigned.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) required.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. The employee is frequently required to stand, walk, reach, bend, climb, stretch and lift up to 50 pounds. Requires the manual dexterity to use and operate all necessary equipment and hand tools.

Work Environment

This position involves a fair amount of manual labor which requires repetitive tasks. This position operates indoors, which can reach different temperatures. This position may require working at heights up to or exceeding 10 feet. The Cultivation Department operates on weekends and holidays, and standard work hours may apply regardless of day or season.
