Description

This position will tentatively start on mid-October 2023. Aeriz is searching for a full-time Vegetation Technician for our state-of-the-art indoor aeroponic cannabis production facility in Riverbank, CA. The successful candidate will possess a passion for horticulture, excellent interpersonal skills, experience leading others, and strong cannabis knowledge with a willingness to continually learn more about the subject.

Department: Cultivation

Location: Riverbank, CA

Compensation: $18.00 / hour

Responsibilities

• Assist with nursery room maintenance, watering and fertilizing plants, and transplant.
• Perform proper plant maintenance, such as labeling, defoliation, pest, and disease control in main veg areas.
• Perform irrigation tasks as outlined by lead and/or manager.
• Move plants in an orderly and accurate fashion, spacing plants accordingly.
• Perform other duties as assigned by Vegetation Lead Technician.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) required.
• Able to show great verbal communication skills.
• Extended time standing, walking, bending, reaching, stretching, and climbing.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds for a distance of 100 feet.
• May require working at heights up to or exceeding 10 feet.
• Close visual focus required.
• This position occasionally requires the extended and repetitive use of hand tools, such as scissors or shears, in a safe, efficient, and effective manner.
• Must be 21 years of age or older and authorized to work in the United States.
• Able to successfully register as an agent in state’s cannabis commission.
• Must adhere to all laws, regulations, and policies associated with the industry.
