Job summary

Aeriz is seeking a full-time Cultivation Sanitation Technician for our state-of-the-art indoor aeroponic cannabis production facility in Riverbank, CA. The role focuses on cleanliness, sterilization of grow room equipment, and reports to the Sanitation Lead.

10–12 hour shifts with weekend/holiday work. Ideal candidates will have a passion for sanitation, strong interpersonal skills, and a willingness to grow with the company.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Clean grow tables and grow rooms after harvests and assist in daily sanitation protocols.
• Complete required logs and documentation.
• Secure designated areas, equipment and supplies.
• Maintain a clean, safe and tour-ready facility.
• Wipe down racks, guard rails, and walls as necessary.
• Maintain inventory of supplies and report needs to manager.
• Restock supplies in common areas as needed.
• Comply with health and safety standards including applicable regulations.
• Report unusual occurrences or damage.
• Perform other cultivation duties as assigned.

Who We Are

Aeriz is searching for a full-time Cultivation Sanitation Technician- for our state-of-the-art indoor aeroponic cannabis production facility in Riverbank, CA. The successful candidate will possess a passion for sanitation, excellent interpersonal skills, experience leading others, cannabis knowledge preferred, with a willingness to continually learn more about the subject.

The Cultivation Sanitation Technician maintains the cleanliness, and sterilization of all the grow room equipment. The entry-level position offers the opportunity to learn and grow with the Company from the ground up, and to take on increasing levels of responsibility over time. This role will report directly to the Sanitation Lead/supervisor and work on-site at our facility in Riverbank, Ca.

This position is a 10-12 hour shift; working weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Clean grow tables and grow rooms after flower room harvests, and vegetative transplant and assist in daily sanitation protocols to ensure a sterile growing environment is maintained.
• Complete all the required logs and documentation.
• Secure designated areas, equipment and supplies.
• Maintain a clean, safe and tour ready facility.
• Wiping down racks, guard rails, and walls as necessary.
• Maintain continuous inventory of supplies and report needs to manager or lead.
• Restock supplies in common spaces as needed.
• Comply with all health and safety standards including those of the Organization, Public Health Department and other governing entities.
• Report unusual occurrences or damage.
• Other cultivation duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) required.
• Ability to work productively independently within a team environment.
• Math required for inventory, projections, and measurements.
• Exhibit the ability to work well within the organization and with others.
• Complete tasks in a timely and accurate manner required.

• This position occasionally requires the extended and repetitive use of arms, hands and fingers to cut and manipulate small objects.
• Minimum of 21 years of age.

Physical Demands:

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or listen. The employee is frequently required to stand, walk, reach, bend, climb, stretch and lift 30 pounds. Requires the manual dexterity to use and operate all necessary equipment and hand tools.

Work Environment:

Work Environment: This position involves a fair amount of manual labor which requires repetitive tasks. This position operates indoors, which can reach different temperatures. This position may require working at heights up to or exceeding 10 feet. The Cultivation Department operates on weekends and holidays, and standard work hours may apply regardless of day or season.
