Job summary

JBS Foods is seeking a Harvest Maintenance Supervisor to lead the day-to-day maintenance activities in the Slaughter Maintenance area. The role focuses on troubleshooting, installation, repair, and upkeep of plant equipment while ensuring safety policies and housekeeping standards are maintained.

The supervisor will assign jobs, monitor progress, respond to emergencies, and coordinate with peers to optimize methods and materials used.

Qualifications

• Working knowledge of the mechanical field with emphasis on troubleshooting.
• Experience in installation, repair and upkeep of equipment.

Responsibilities

• Directs assigned employees in maintenance work and production operations.
• Records progress of jobs and ensures daily time distribution is recorded.
• Provides immediate response to emergencies in Slaughter Maintenance area.
• Instructs mechanics in methods, materials, tools and equipment for assigned work.
• Ensures safety policy and housekeeping are followed.
• Coordinates shift handovers with other supervisors to maintain orderly operations.
• Trains general mechanics to maintain and improve skill levels.
