Job summary

JBS USA is seeking a maintenance associate to support day-to-day operations in the Slaughter Maintenance Department. You will assist in repairs, installations, and upkeep of plant equipment while ensuring safety and compliance with company policies.

Responsibilities include directing staff on maintenance tasks, documenting progress, and providing technical guidance on methods and tools. A high school diploma with technical training and industrial maintenance experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum high school diploma or GED with technical mechanical training.
• Strong working knowledge of mechanical field, troubleshooting, and equipment upkeep.
• Experience in industrial maintenance and safety compliance is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist daily operations of Slaughter Maintenance Department.
• Direct assigned personnel in maintenance and production tasks.
• Record job progress and time distribution of employees.
• Respond to emergencies in Slaughter Maintenance area.
• Instruct mechanics on best methods, tools, and equipment.
• Support preventive maintenance and spare parts stocking.
