Job summary

JBS USA is seeking a Maintenance Harvest Supervisor to lead the Maintenance Department, directing preventive and predictive maintenance on the harvest floor, offal, hot boxes and cattle pens, and partnering with operations, food safety and safety teams to support plant initiatives.

You will plan and assign work, manage budgets, ensure regulatory compliance, maintain records, and drive continuous improvement through TPM and Six Sigma, coordinating with contractors to meet timelines and quality

Qualifications

• Three years supervision in maintenance/operations of a process facility, preferably unionized.
• Strong knowledge of continuous process manufacturing and equipment overhaul.
• Experience with TPM or Six Sigma and preventative maintenance systems.

Responsibilities

• Supervise maintenance personnel; plan, lead, organize and coordinate work orders.
• Respond to operational maintenance concerns and coordinate with operations.
• Maintain records of maintenance activities and compliance with policies.
• Oversee contractor work and ensure quality and deadlines.
• Plan expenditures and manage department budget.
• Ensure safety, health and environmental compliance at all times.
