Job summary

Qualifications

Educational background in mechanical or engineering technology with a diploma or degree.
Experience supervising maintenance in a fast-paced facility.
Asset: electrician license or equivalent.
Knowledge of continuous process manufacturing and equipment overhaul.

Responsibilities

Supervise plant maintenance personnel and coordinate work orders and maintenance activities.
Provide immediate response to maintenance concerns and coordinate with operations to minimize production downtime.
Maintain records of maintenance and compliance with company policies and external regulations.
Supervise repairs and ensure quality and timeliness of contractor work.
Plan and control expenditures within the department budget.
Maintain safety, health and environmental compliance in maintenance operations.
